Is there car parking?
Yes, free car parking is available with lots of space
What inspired the stable design?
Originally we looked at designs from several manufacturers and in particular were impressed with Horizon Barns structures and ideas, so we tried to follow their plans when working on extending the stables.
Horse Care
What happens if my horse is unwell?
We will contact you personally and help to arrange a vet, dentist or a farrier visit, using our list of contacts unless you have your own favourites.
Do you offer additional services, such as clipping, grooming and hacking?
You can find information related to clipping and grooming here, while information on our main livery services and possible extras is here. If you have any specific requests then don’t hesitate to call us (07428 811 100) and ask!
Events
Do you hold any special events?
Yes, we have rider training events, hacks, jump training and we’re planning to do much more! We also welcome professional jumpers to come and give private classes to our community.
Financial
Is there a deposit? When do I get my deposit returned and under what conditions?
Yes, there is normally a £200 deposit required to hold a stable. Deposits are returned at the end of the notice period when you wish to leave (one month), minus any outstanding invoices if applicable.
What payment methods are available?
Payments are normally done by bank transfer, and in some cases cash is accepted
Which day of the month do I need to pay my rent?
Payments are collected on the 1st of each month.
Service Related
Who can hire the riding arena?
The riding arena and jumps are free to existing customers and can be hired for £15 an hour by anyone else.
Can you still ride in the rain?
Yes but caution needs to be taken and common sense must always prevail!
What should I wear?
Everyone must wear appropriate dress at all times when riding or in the vicinity of any horses. This includes safety hats, riding boots and body protectors.
Do I need my own hat and boots?
Yes, you need to bring your own equipment.
We are, however, able to give advice on where to buy this if you are new to horse riding!
Is there any equipment for hire?
The riding arena and jumps are included in the stable rental but can also be hired by any other customers for £15 per hour 🙂
If I’d like to leave the yard, how much notice should I give?
A minimum 1 month’s notice is required if you wish to leave the yard.

Do you have any positions available?
I am not looking for people full-time, but indeed I learned my trade from helping out on horse yards so we are always keen to welcome young people who would like to learn how to look after a horse! If you are interested in helping out please give me a call on 07428 811 100. Thanks!
