Why Windlebrook Stables?
We at Windlebrook Stables have a great routine as well as a tidy, conveniently laid out livery yard.
Our facilities include a 20m x 40m floodlit arena with plastic show jumps and mirrors, a grass canter track in summer months, hot wash down area, all weather turnout pens, horse walker and beautiful hacking across Brentmoor heath.
Windlebrook is in such a lovely location set in the quiet back lanes of Lightwater and Windlesham with some great road work and pretty bridlepaths.
Windlebook is child and dog (on leads) friendly. We have free range ducks and chickens around the fields and the yard during the day so if you don’t trust your dog please leave them on the sofa!
We truly believe every horse's needs are different. It seems from just arriving at Windlebrook the horses settle straight away. It is such a calming, friendly environment.

Caring and supportive livery yard
We’ve been at the yard for almost two years and Louisa and her team have worked tirelessly during that time to provide the best care for our horses. Louisa has been a fantastic support with my riding and has helped me work towards my goals for competing. It’s a warm and friendly yard and we love being there.

A welcoming yard that brings out the best in ponies and people
My daughter and her ponies honestly couldn’t be happier at Windlebrook Stables – it feels more like a second home than a livery yard. The atmosphere is so calm and friendly, and the ponies are treated with genuine care and kindness.
Watching my daughter grow in confidence since being there has been amazing and she always has the best time at the yard.
Couldn’t recommend it more for anyone looking for a warm, supportive yard where kids and their ponies can truly thrive.

THE best livery yard!
We came to Windlebrook 5 months ago and I’m so glad we did. Louisa and her girls go above and beyond to cater for every horses individual needs, nothing is ever too much trouble. Lou treats every horse like they are her own, with so much care and consideration. The yard is immaculate and has everything you could ever wish for. My daughter is becoming more confident on her pony thanks to Lou and Sophie-Lily who have been amazing, teaching her and bringing on her pony in many different ways.
I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! Friendly, professional and incredibly supportive. I couldn’t do this journey without Louisa and her girls.

Exceptional Livery Yard
Windlebrook Stables is an exceptional livery yard, run by Louisa and her fantastic team. The yard is beautifully kept, with constant care and attention given to maintenance and improvements.
What truly sets Windlebrook apart is the genuine love and care they show for every horse. I have complete confidence that everything is done with the horse’s best interests at heart. Communication with owners is excellent, but just as importantly, I trust that if I couldn’t be reached in an emergency, Louisa and the team would make the right decision without hesitation.
They really care about you as an owner too — your goals, what you want to achieve, and how they can support you and your horse to get there. Nothing feels rushed or one-size-fits-all.
The atmosphere on the yard is brilliant. It’s friendly, supportive, and welcoming, with lovely liveries who genuinely look out for one another. You can be as involved in yard events as you like, or happily do your own thing — there’s never any pressure.
I couldn’t recommend Windlebrook Stables highly enough. It’s a rare find and truly feels like a home for both horses and owners.
